Experience
I have an eclectic practice that reflects my interest in working with a wide range of people from different social, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. I value the variety of my clinical work and how it motivates me to keep developing professionally and personally. Over the course of my career, I have worked in inpatient psychiatry, as a child therapist – and later clinical supervisor – in an urban mental health clinic, as a therapeutic consultant to a foster care agency, and in private practice. I was previously affiliated with The Fostering Connection, a non-profit organization that provides free therapy to youth and young adults affected by the foster care system, and I served as the Clinical Director of the program for several years. I have advanced training in adult psychoanalytic psychotherapy and couples therapy, and I am an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist.
